My family came here a few weeks ago early morning, and the room was nice and clean. The front desk lady was very attentive to our needs, as in extra towels etc, and she placed us closer to the office. Well, we came in last night and the room which was placed in the middle of the hotel, was trash. As soon as I turned the lights on...roaches ran up the wall, across the table/dressers, bathroom sink, and all throughout the bathroom...The room was not properly cleaned and the towels we're stained. My wash cloth actually had makeup on it. We we're very uncomfortable and really couldn't sleep knowing the roaches we're everywhere! When we driver back through here again, we will not be staying at the Key West inn.
Smoking rooms should be on upper floors. Smoke rise's to the non-smoking rooms. Higher rate for the room you have.
Excellent stay for a reasonable price. Customer service was hands down the most courteous and professional i have encountered. The receptionist Suzy went above and beyond to accommodate all of my needs. She even directed me to the best barbeque joint in five counties. Thoroughly satisfied
A clean hotel that has no extras! Ladies be sure to bring your own hairdryer because unlike every hotel out there, they don't have them. Also you expect to find an iron and ironing board in your room to freshen up your packed clothes, but there's not. Heck depending on your room you'll have no where to hang even your jacket. I'd skip the continental breakfast since it's just cold coffee, 2 choices of cereal, and waffles.
The only pics that are real and current of outside of hotel. Rooms are not clean except the toilets sink and shower are somewhat cleaned. Walls doors mirrors and head boards are filthy. Seen a beer can from previous guest behind the mini fridge mainstays package wrap for new blanket on floor behind jead board of bed. I moved the pillows and used a damp clean face cloth from bathroom to wipe head board on bed. When i was done cloth was dark brown and head board was still filthy. Back of fridge had a thick orange grime line on bottom shelf. Walls had numerous shoe prints and grease marks same for doors.
